Round One

Round One reveals much about other players, and is key into entering the midgame.

First Play:

If you're the first player, each card should be used strategically. Some cards are better than others -- these are the cards to use.


Guard:

Use it if you have a Guard, Baron, Handmaid, Prince, King, Countess, or Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Priest.


Priest:

Use it if you have a Guard, Priest, Baron, King, Countess, or Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Handmaid, or Prince.


Baron:

Use it if you have a Baron, King, Countess, or Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Guard, Priest, Handmaid, or Prince


Handmaid:

Use it if you have a Priest, Baron, Handmaid, Prince, King, Countess, or Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Guard


Prince:

Use it if you have aPriest, Baron, Prince, King, or Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Guard, Handmaid, or Countess


¹King:

Use it if you have a: Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Guard, Priest, Baron, Handmaid, Prince, Countess


¹Countess:

Use it if you have a: Prince, King, Princess

Avoid using it if you have a Guard, Priest, Baron, Handmaid


Princess:

Never, ever use the Princess. Always use a different card.
